When games are scheduled for our home fields, the club is required to set up the fields, ensure signage is displayed, provide canteen facilities, take down the fields at the end of the day. Additionally, during the season the fields need to be line marked, and assistance is often needed running social events. It is expected that parents and families will volunteer to help with these tasks to share the running of the club more equitably with everyone.
Typically a roster is published for home game duties, and each team is requested to volunteer 1-2 helpers each home game. If everyone pitches in then during the course of the season each family should only need to help once or twice.
